In accordance with our commitment to contribute to Sustainable Development, our company performs its activities while giving the upmost importance to environmental care. In that sense, we comply with the applicable law and we collaborate both with the authorities and the community as we ensure resources and train personnel for this purpose.
• Comply with environmental laws, resolutions, regulations and other requirements applicable by control bodies which may apply to our line of business.
• Respond to concerns/doubts posed by the legal authorities, the community or any other organization concerned, regarding our development and environmental performance.
• Prevent contamination and prioritize the reduction of waste at specific points in the production system by trying to maximize usage. We put an emphasis on both reducing waste and promoting recycling.
An Environmental Management System (EMS) is one of the many tools used when it comes to environmental care in order to identify and control the impacts of activities, products or services in production systems. It seeks to continuously improve environmental performance and to provide a method for a comprehensive and systematic treatment.
TUBAPLAS S.A.´s management has created an environmental policy by expressing its environmental position and trying to achieve both the prevention of pollution and a continuous improvement.
Environmental management so defined is intended to encourage the organizations and their employees to consider the implementation of the best techniques available, in the most appropriate and economically efficient manner.
